About APICS Tappan Zee

Welcome to the Tappan Zee Chapter of APICS

The Tappan Zee Chapter of APICS primarily serves the metropolitan New York areas of; Westchester and Rockland Counties and New York City. The Chapter’s Mission is to be the premier provider of educational and networking services for Operations Management professionals. Our goal is to help you and your business operate more efficiently and improve your profitability.

To support these goals the chapter sponsors six monthly Professional Development Meetings (PDMs) per year. These PDM meetings could include a speaker presenting a topic relevant to the Operations Management body of knowledge or a local company hosting a plant tour to share their operational excellence. Speaker presentations are open to the public. To encourage networking amongst our peers, the chapter invites attendees to stay for dinner for a nominal fee. The chapter also sponsors seminars. For more information on upcoming events, please go to our Calendar of Events.

The Chapter also offers courses to help prepare for the APICS certification exams, CPIM and CSCP. We offer courses for the community as well as work with individual companies to provide in-house certification preparation training courses, which can be customized to your company’s needs. For more information please go to Education.
